Peky from May 2003 - Dec 2008 |
This is in memory of our dear dog Peky. Kind of a crazy personality but with a good sool, Peky left us last December with heart problems. Peky was the chosen one within six other puppies from the moment he pissed my shirt... :) Power to you Peky |

Synergy on ubuntu natty 11.04 |
|
Synergy is the KVM software that allows you to use a shared mouse and keyboard between screens. Either they're the same operating system or not, this is a great tool to have installed. Unfortunately found that installing it on Ubuntu 11.04 is not as straight forward. You'll need to download the deb package from http://synergy-foss.org/ , then open a terminal window and install it the following way: #sudo apt-get install libqt4-gui #sudo apt-get install libqt4-network #sudo dpkg -i synergy-1.4.2-Linux-i686.deb :) All done now |

Jailbreak Iphone 3G, 3GS, 4 on IOS 4.0 or 4.0.1 only |
|
As from today you've the easiest Jailbreak ever for all Iphone 3, 3GS and 4. This Jailbreak assumes you're running IOS(firmware) 4.0 or 4.0.1. There is no need to connect any cable, build any ipsw or run any software, since it's all done via the Safari Web Browser already included on the iphone. You'll just need a Wifi Connection or 3G access, and as long you're connected to the internet, the Jailbreak becomes very simple. Jailbreak of the iPhone is now Legal in the US, so Europe will be probably adopting the same measures. Further information and reference: blog.iphonedev.org and http://www.jailbreakme.com/faq.html Steps below: 1) Double Click the Home Button and close Safari if opened. 2) Open Safari Icon and write the address: jailbreakme.com 3) Slide to continue, and you'll see window which shows the download status 4) Enjoy.
If at Step 4 after Sliding to Jailbreak you get only the background, it's probably because the server is too busy. Try again from step 1 but use the address jailbreakme.modmyi.com |

Logitech Control Center LCC 3.1.0 Snow Leopard 10.6.2 |
|
I would like to share an issue I've been having with a Logitech Wave Keyboard Combo. Since the installation of SL 10.6.2, LCC 3.1.0 supplied by Logitech seems to unable to change from de default Apple Layout to the Logitech Keyboard Layout. In my specific case, I use a Portuguese Logitech Wave Keyboard, and I can't change it to "Logitech Portuguese". The solution I've found to overcome the problem, was downloading ukelele 2.0b3. I don't even need to install ukelele, since I've found inside the dmg a Folder called Logitech which contains the "Logitech Portuguese" layout. So, the solution is to copy the chosen language keyboard layout into /Users//Library/Keyboard Layouts. After that go to preferences and chose the new Logitech Layout, it works flawless and no more issues with LCC 3.1.0 :) Download link for Ukelele... http://scripts.sil.org/cms/scripts/page.php?site_id=nrsi&id=Ukelele |
